My name is Saige Sparks. I’m an Equine and Canine Massage Practitioner, Dressage Rider, Horse Lover, Fiance, Dog Mom, and passionate Animal Lover. I’m starting this blog as a safe space to share my thoughts, promote my business (https://www.softtouchhealing.com/), and let’s be honest, maybe even earn a bit on the side.
My Journey So Far
I graduated in 2020 with my Bachelors in Science, in the middle of COVID, with no idea what my future was going to look like. So I decided to pursue my love for horses and managed a 91-acre horse farm with over 30 horses—an experience I considered my dream job. However, as many in the equestrian industry know, it’s not always as kind as we hope. So, I made the difficult decision to leave that side of the industry and pursue my own business in equine and canine massage on the side, while having a supporting full time job working at a Veterinary Hospital.
Balancing a full-time job while starting my business hasn’t been easy. With a wedding to plan, a horse to care for, pets at home, and a supportive fiance, my time feels stretched thin. Despite these challenges, I remain dedicated to building a successful business and achieving financial freedom.
Navigating Challenges and Setting Goals
Where do I go from here? How do I build a thriving business and accumulate enough wealth to have a family and build a home? Although I don’t know the answers yet, I’m committed to finding them. I want to learn not just how to succeed in a tough industry but also how to find true happiness and maintain a healthy work-life balance.

In this blog, I plan to share insights from my journey—both personal and professional. I’ll discuss the highs and lows of my equestrian adventures, reflect on the lessons learned, and document my ongoing pursuit of success and fulfillment in the equine industry and otherwise.
